question 17 to 19
I want to tell you about an amazing trip
to London. It was a girl trip, only me and my mum. We had to take the coast bus
to Haugesund Airport very early in the morning and took the plane to Stansted
airport in London. I felt very excited because I had heard a lot of good things
about London before. Along the way to the hotel, I amazed with the scenery we
drove through. The houses were different from Norway; a lot of them were made
of brick. I could see that London is much bigger than Stavanger. We stayed in a
hotel, called Piccadilly hotel because the hotel was located in Piccadilly
Circus area. I and my mum were both tired after the long trip, so we decided to
relax a bit before going sightseeing. A half an hour later, we took the
sightseeing bus and looked at all the nice buildings. For me who is interested
in culture like old and iconic buildings, these were awesome. In the beginning
of the trip, we saw everything perfectly clear; we saw Big Ben, Buckingham
palace, and a lot of other incredible buildings. After some minutes it became a
bit dark, and it was so nice to be on the sightseeing bus because it was
beautiful to see a lot of light from all the buildings and bridges from the
bus. We just came back to the hotel in the middle of the night before
continuing our tour the following day. It was really wonderful experience.

Tips to prevent acne
Wash your face twice a day: once
at night, and once during your morning routine. When you wash your face, wash
it gently and with warm water. The heat will open your pores and the
temperature is better to clean than cold water.
Moisturize after each face wash. Moisturizing your skin is just as important as washing it. But
your skin is an organ, and it needs moisture.
Moisture it after each washes.
Never go to sleep with makeup on. If you wear makeup, remove it before you go to bed. Make up that
stays on your face can block pores, leading to acne.
Try not to touch your face with your hands. Your hands are breeding grounds for bacteria because we use them
to touch so many things. Touching your face is a big no-no because it cuts down
on bacteria transmission. The fewer bacteria on your face, the lower your
chances that you'll develop acne.
Stay out of direct sunlight. Exposure to too much sunlight can be harmful to the skin. Sunlight
can cause skin cancer, but it can accelerate to develop acne too. When you
go outside for long time, use some non comedogenic sunscreen to help block out
harmful rays.

What
are ladybugs?
Ladybugs
are insects in the Coccinellidae family of the beetle order, Coleoptera. They are characterized by their oval‐shaped body and
distinctive coloring.
Is there a difference between lady
beetles and ladybugs?
Although
these insects are commonly called “ladybugs,” they are members of the beetle
order, Coleoptera. The Coleoptera are
unique from other orders in that they undergo complete metamorphosis (that is,
have larva and pupa stages in their life cycle), and their forewings have
modified into a
hardened cover (elytra) that protects the insect. “True” bugs belong to the order Hemiptera,
and include boxelder bugs, plant bugs, and squash bugs.
Immature True Bug
Though taxonomically
incorrect, lady beetles are still commonly referred to as ladybugs. Other frequently used common names are
ladybirds or ladybird beetles.
How did ladybugs get their name?
The
most common legend as to how ladybugs got their name is that during the middle
ages in Europe, swarms of aphids were destroying crops. The farmers prayed to the Virgin Mary for
help – and help came in the form of ladybugs that devoured the plant‐destroying pests and
saved the crops! The grateful farmers
named these insects “Our Lady’s beetles,” a name which had endured to present
day.
What do ladybugs eat?
Both
adult and larval ladybugs are known primarily as predators of aphids but they
also prey on many other soft‐bodied insects and insect eggs. Many of these are agricultural pest such as
scale insects, mealybugs, spider mites and eggs of the Colorado Potato Beetle
and European Corn Borer. A few ladybugs
feed on plant and pollen mildews and many ladybugs supplement their meat diet
with pollen. (Source: www.lostladybug.org)
